Sirao Flower Farm

Sirao Flower Farm is a new eye-catching spot in Cebu because of its captivating beauty and garden-fresh flowers.. It is a flower farm in Sirao, a mountain barangay of Cebu City. The farm went viral because of the celoisa flower, it has a very beautiful colors, red, orange, yellow and purple, perfect for selfies!

To be among the celosia in Sirao is to be burnt alive and smiling, Greek-speak. This is the closest one can get to Greece in the Philippines. Ople, whose family oversees the farm. The flower farm has suddenly become popular, thanks to Facebook and Instagram. It has become an instant tourist spot, it’s accessible by foot, by habal-habal and by ordinary car.

The Ople family is happy and proud that people have taken interest in their flower farm, says Jojie Limotan, a family member.To everyone who has been there, the Oples extend their thanks. To those who are still on their way up, the celosia are still there.

Bantayan Island


Bantayan Island is an island in the Philippines located at the western portion of the northern tip of Cebu Island. It is politically a part of the Province of Cebu. The island can be reached by ferry from Hagnaya Wharf in San Remigio, Cebu, or from Cebu City, or from Cadiz City in Negros Occidental.

The island is composed of three municipalities are Bantayan, Madridejos, Santa Fe in Cebu.

Landing at Mactan Cebu International Airport

Mactan Cebu International Airport is located in Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island, Metro Cebu and is the country's second primary gateway. It is a major international airport in the Visayas region of the Philippines.  The airport is managed by the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority.

Mactan Cebu International Airport is a major trade center in the south for both domestic and international traffic. Its traffic is continually increasing and is now serving 602 commercial flights weekly transporting 10,223 passengers daily. Narrow-bodied aircraft such as A319, A320, A321, B737, and wide-bodied aircraft such A300, A330, A340, B777 and B747 have been introduced in international flights to Mactan and in the domestic trunk routes. The airport has a large apron, a single 3,300 meter runway, and a taxiway. The terminal building incorporates both domestic and international wings with a combined capacity for 4.5 million passengers. The airport covers an area of 797 hectares.

Barbeque Larsian Fuente


Barbeque food being offered in Larsian Fuente include the usual list of pork and chicken parts being sold in your neighbour hood barbeque store.  Larsian is located at the heart of Cebu City, Fuente Osmena, near the Fuente Police Station and Chong Hua Hospital. The place becomes alive starting at around 5 pm until the wee hours of dawn.

Marcelo Fernan Bridge at Cebu

Marcelo Fernan Bridge is an extradosed cable-stayed bridge located in Metro Cebu in the Philippines. It spans across Mactan Channel connecting Cebu Island to Mactan Island.

Marcelo Fernan Bridge was opened in August 1999 to decongest the traffic from the older Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The bridge is one of the widest and longest bridge span in the Philippines. The bridge was constructed with the help of the Japanese Government. It was named after Senator Marcelo Fernan, a political figure from Cebu City.
