Small parcels of land is cheap in isolated areas of places like Baguio, Philippines, you can easily just work for a while longer and save up some cash so as to buy something there (live with parents or in as cheap an apartment as possible to make it easier and then build a small off-the-grid house. This was in Radar, Baguio.
Strawberry Farm
Since we are already at Benguet, we visited the famous Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad. There is a wide, wide field of strawberry. It also has a very nice setting, quite amazing. We didnt picked up strawberry there but instead we just bought the ones that is already in a basket. For 55 per kilo. Not bad really. I have known lately that during peak season, the strawberry cost as high as 150+ per kilo. But of course you can pick up the strawberry if you wanted too. You just have to pay certain amount.

The Butterfly Sanctuary, inside Camp John Hay is the Butterfly Sanctuary, an eco tourism attraction. The entrance fee is P40 per head and P35 per head for a group of at least 25 people. According to the caretaker, the butterflies usually come out when it’s really bright and sunny and and hide when it is cloudy or it is too cold, so if you really want to see a lot of flying butterflies, it is best that you visit at lunch time or when it's hot and sunny. The caretaker also catched some of the butterflies and had our picture taken with the butterflies, on our face, nose, hair, or wherever we liked it. He even told and showed us the life cycle of the butterflies. It was a really nice and educational time at The Butterfly Sanctuary.

Taoist Temple and Bell Church in Baguio
Taoist Bell Church is one of the attractions in Baguio City that gets a lot of visitors. It is located at downtown area of La Trinidad Benguet. Here you can find colourful temples, attractive pagodas and well landscape gardens. There are also books available for those who want to know the history and culture of China. Bell church is crowded every Chinese New year because mostly of the Chinese visit the temples to pray and witness the colourful Chinese New Year Parade. This is a very big event so if your planning to go, my advices is to get there as early as you can so as not to miss any of the fun.
