This is Pusan Point, geographically the eastern-most point of the Philippines. Sunrise here is some 8 minutes ahead of Manila. This place is considered as the easternmost vantage point of the Philippine Archipelago. It became popular because it is the site where you can see the first sunrise in the Philippines, thus the term first light first sight! Beyond this is the lonely wide expanse of the Pacific Ocean, the realm of Poseidon and the many ancient tales of sea monsters, sirens and mermaids.

One of Laoag City’s most famous landmarks in fact one of the top Ilocos Norte tourist attractions. The structure is claimed to be the most solid and tallest bell tower in the Philippines. The tower has earned its sinking reputation because it is so heavy and it was build on sandy foundations that it is sinking into the ground. Stories mention that a person on horseback could enter the tower with ease back when it was built. Now, a person of normal height has to bend down just to enter the vaulted entrance.

Banaue is located in the mountain of Ifugao, Northern Luzon, Philippines. The Banaue Rice Terraces are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Getting to the Banaue Rice Terraces is much easier than the Rice Terraces of Batad.

There are three main stops along the way, where you can get out and photograph the picturesque scenery. It was so quiet and beautiful, just gazing out into the valley of terraces creates such a calm positive energy, it's a feeling and memory that stays with you.

The most famous cove in Ilocos Norte is the Kapurpurawan Beach, which means “white rock.” It is a massive rock that juts out into the sea. From afar, it looks as if someone has wiped off the top layer frosting and exposed the soft white cake that lies beneath. Up close, it is a dazzling bright white rock that sparkles in the sun. Kapurpurawan is a showcase for the power of wind and water on rock and coral.

Also found in Ilocos Norte, this limestone formation is considered as a nature’s work of art that is truly one-of-a-kind in the country. The forces of the sea, whips of the wind, pull of gravity and sedimentation over a long period of time are the “artists” of this natural masterpiece.

YouTube user Lush Video uploaded a video featuring Siargao, but not how it is usually depicted in advertisements and brochures.

Siargao island is most popular for its Cloud 9 waves. Surfers from around the globe visit the island year round. But Siargao has more to offer other than surfing. Non surfers can learn how to surf in the beginner beach just beside the famous Cloud 9 Boardwalk.

Make sure to do the 3 island hopping tour! Don't forget to buy your fresh seafood and have it cooked in Dako Island! Just relax enjoy the beach and let them do the cooking.

And you can't miss the Magpupungko Tidal Rock Pools. These pools can only be enjoyed during low tide hours. We had so much fun in Siargao and I know you guys will too!

Running through the island of Mindanao in the Philippines, the Enchanted River, also known as Hinatuan River, is not only a beautiful body of water, but a stunning natural mystery — no one knows exactly where the river comes from. Although the river’s source is undetermined, it is still a popular destination for swimmers and divers alike.

The Hinatuan Enchanted River is a deep spring river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It flows into the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean at Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It is found between the boundaries of Barangays of Talisay and Cambatong.

With its tranquil blue waters, palm trees and rock pools, this idyllic river in the Philippines is nothing short of paradise. Because the saltwater river seems to have no source.

The river's unusual colors and unexplored depths has inspired various local legends. One story tell of fairies that added the colors of sapphire and jade to the river to make its unique shade. Local fisherfolk also report seeing fish in the river that cannot be caught through any means. According to locals, the river was called the Enchanted River because of the Engkantos. Engkanto are environmental spirits that have the ability to appear in human form.They are often associated with the spirits of ancestors in the Philippines. They are also characterized as spirit sorts like sirens, dark beings, elves, and more. Belief in their existence has likely existed for centuries,and continues to this day that dwell there. Their legends also say that the river is haunted by supernatural beings which act as its protectors.

Guimbal Church or St. Nicolas of Tolentino Parish Church is  located in Guimbal, Iloilo, Philippines, the yellow sandstone church is made from adobe stones called igang and coral stones quarried from Guimaras. It was built in 1774 by Father Campos.
