Bugasok Falls
I really really wanted to swim in an ocean but when I came to this seemingly mystical slash ethereal falls of Bugasok, I put into priority swimming in a falls. You know this song of TLC, "don't go chasing waterfalls, just sink in to the river and the way.." I know its dangerous but what do you expect from a person who is soooo adventurous!
I so so freaking love waters from up high pouring from a mountain! Well, it's different than the ocean or a river, yeah, 'cause I believe that falls is a one hell of a dangerous place to play on. But aren't you captivated by this heavenly Bugasok Falls! This is a great feeling for me, conquering this water scenery.
One day, Im'ma conquer all falls in the world!
Kanlaob River
Kanlaob River
You will see the force gushed by the wind whilst touching the water. Kanlaob River rocky, hidden nature place. This area is a gemstone that is being taken care of by the people living near this place. You will see rocks, some shiny and some slimy.
The place is serene. The ilog is placid and the falls is full of energy being given by the highest structure of the mountains. This surely is a scenery to die for. It gives life to the trees whenever a drop of water reaches the roots. It gives life to the animals, be it may birds or mammals or reptiles.
The water is clear; it is cold. The Kanlaob River is truly magnificent.

Guiob Church Ruins
The century-old Camel Thorn tree at the Guiob Church Ruins in Camiguin. The Old Church Ruins of Camiguin is one of the oldest and unique structures in the island. Old because it was built sometime in the 16th century. Unique because it is made from coral stones. It was later turned to ruins by the 1871 Vulcan eruption.
Guiob Church Ruins was what was left from the old church of the island’s Spanish era capital called Cotta Bato located in Barangay Bonbon, 16 kilometers from the center of Catarman town. It was constructed in the 16th century but devastated in 1871 earthquake and volcanic eruption which wiped out the illustrious town of Catarman established earlier as a Spanish settlement in 1697.". On May 13, 1871, the capital’s peace was rattled by an intense trembling of the ground brought about by the rumbling of a nearby volcano, Mount Vulcan.

Butterfly Sanctuary in Baguio
The Butterfly Sanctuary, inside Camp John Hay is the Butterfly Sanctuary, an eco tourism attraction. The entrance fee is P40 per head and P35 per head for a group of at least 25 people. According to the caretaker, the butterflies usually come out when it’s really bright and sunny and and hide when it is cloudy or it is too cold, so if you really want to see a lot of flying butterflies, it is best that you visit at lunch time or when it's hot and sunny. The caretaker also catched some of the butterflies and had our picture taken with the butterflies, on our face, nose, hair, or wherever we liked it. He even told and showed us the life cycle of the butterflies. It was a really nice and educational time at The Butterfly Sanctuary.

Bangui Windmill
Bangui Windmills
The twenty wind turbines that make up the Bangui Windmills Project all lined up was truly a sight to behold. Powering almost 90 per cent of the Ilocos Region, the windmill turbines underline the importance and advantages of relying on sustainable energy to combat the global environmental crisis. Standing directly below them, I was able to feel the power of these super structures as each swing of its three pronged blade produces a thundering shoosh that scared me a bit.

In the past 6 years I have travelled all over the Philippines, from Ilocos Norte to Zamboanga City and everywhere in between. I have also travelled to islands all over the Caribbean, Pacific and Southeast Asia. Camiguin is the best place in the Philippines and one of the nicest islands in the world.

Black Island
Black Island is a grey colored island that ahs all the trademarks of Busuanga, limestone cliffs. The big cave with natural pool of green colored water inside. We dipped into it and felt relieved by its soothing coolness. We explore the cave deep inside until lack of sunlight made us decide we had had enough and proceeded to the entrance, or shall I say, exit mouth of the still unnamed cave. Once outside, by the shore, one can notice a comical shape of two islands that seem talking to each other.

Banaue Rice Terraces
Although the Banaue Rice Terraces have been in-scripted to the List of World Heritage in Danger on 2001 as the dangers of deforestation and climate change threatens to destroy the terraces. Another contributing factor is globalization where the younger generations of the Ifugaos have recently had the opportunity to gain access to media and education, most of the younger Ifugaos have opted to come to the capital for work instead of the traditional farming tradition.
The Banaue Rice Terraces are now showing signs of erosion. Some areas needs maintenance as some of the new generation Ifugaos are migrating to the cities looking for better opportunities. That given, the terraces still never fails to awe the traveller.

Edge Coaster at Cebu
The first of its kind in the whole world, the Edge Coaster is an amusement ride installed at the edge of a hotel building. Edge Coaster riding is definitely a unique experience of mixed fear, excitement, and fun as you feel like floating or falling off from Cebu skies. With the amazing view from the top, you would seem to have toured the entire Cebu City during the duration of your ride. The Edge Coaster is the first of its kind in the country where you are safely and tightly fastened in a coaster that is tilted 55 degrees and revolves around the 38th floor of the Crown Regency Hotel and Towers in Cebu City. What’s better news is that the coaster is just one of the facilities of the Sky Adventure Experience project of Crown Regency. Other features of the project are the Sky bar, Sky Walk, Sky Lounge, and soon, the Insanity Orbit.

Capones Island
Capones Island have one of the amazing view I had ever seen. Couldn't believe how beautiful the island is. Capones Island and Camara Islands lie a few kilometers from the shores of Pundaquit, Zambales. The Camara islands are 2 kilometers offshore and Capones is 3 kilometers farther Capones and Camara islands are known for their white beaches, speckled with colorful crushed coral. Clear turquoise waters held us spell-bound. High rock cliffs beckon rappellers. Capones is known for an old Spanish-era lighthouse that brings visitors back in time.
There are no resorts nor facilities on the island. Tourists usually stay at a resort in Pundaquit at Zambales, a small fishing village about 3 kms southwest of San Antonio where they can hire a boat to explore Capones Island.
If ever you want to rent boat going to Capones Island. It is just 200 php per head back and forth to Anawangin beach. The boat capacity is up to 12 pax but additional 50 php if you want side trips to Capones and camara Islands.
Bolinao Beach
Bolinao boast of a distinct white sand beach you can only find at Barangay Patar, Bolinao. Though Bolinao is a long stretch of Beaches and Resorts, beware.. You might get into a resort that sports a rocky beach front. If you want to have the finest beach of Bolinao, then, go straight to the Lighthouse. The beach below the lighthouse is the best beach in Bolinao.
Bolinao was founded by Captain Pedro Lombi in 1575, an island known as Binabalian meaning old town with few hundred settlers. However, it was transferred later to Bolinao mainland due to piratical molestation. In 1585. Bolinao and other western Pangasinan towns were once part of Zambales. It was the year 1903 when Bolinao and other western towns were transferred to Pangasinan due to its proximity to the capital town of Lingayen.
